Staying Safe

We know that swimming might not be an option for everyone this summer. While public pools, beaches and lakes are closed, do not try to access these bodies of water. Please use caution if you choose to swim in a private lake or pool. Authorized lifeguarded open water swim opportunities are available with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board’s Open Swim Club at Lake Nokomis.

We recommend you run and bike solo while maintaining a distance of six feet or more apart from other people. If pathways or roadways are busy, please find another route.
