At It’s Time to Talk: Forums on Race attendees will build their foundation through:
Over 1,000 diverse leaders from business, education, arts and community service will come together to move Minnesota forward through honest conversation about race.
The strength of our future depends on our ability to develop new skills around inclusion and equity, understand the realities of racism today and commit ourselves to action.
Proceeds raised from It’s Time to Talk: Forums on Race support YWCA Minneapolis Racial Justice programs—providing community workshops that explore topics on race, equity and social justice issues. Workshop participants are provided with a deeper level of understanding of these areas and an increased level of community engagement.
Event sponsorship connects your organization to this powerful racial justice program. Sponsors of the event will receive opportunities for customized consulting services by YWCA Minneapolis Inc.lude™ Equity and Inclusion Consulting.
YWCA Minneapolis is a national leader in the field of racial equity; facilitating change and generating meaningful action in the workplace and the community.
YWCA Minneapolis Racial Justice and Public Policy Department works within the community to eliminate inequities on interpersonal, institutional and systemic levels through a continuum of moving from knowledge, awareness and skills to action. We do this through assessment, inclusion planning and facilitated dialogues in the workplace.
